The Certificate ERBE thus meets the requirements for systematic and effective occupational safety based on the industry sector-specific implementation of NLF/ILO-OSH 2001 and of the 'Basic Principles for the Auditing of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems', dated 11-2007.

Certification of the system according to specification OHSAS 18001:2007 has thus been achieved. This specification is currently the most important international standard for the assessment of occupational health and safety management systems.

'We benefit in several respects from our commitment to, and involvement in, occupational health and safety matters', says Managing Director Christian O. Erbe.
'The Occupational Health and Safety Management System contributes to minimizing potential risks and maximizes the security level of all operative processes. And the introduction of the new system will significantly contribute towards optimizing our sophisticated medical technology products and services.'

Occupational health and safety at ERBE In the first instance, occupational health and safety at ERBE mean protection and safety, health prevention and legal certainty in the event of damages for every individual employee as well as for the entire company.
With the introduction of the system, in-company processes and process flows are documented
and regulated according to the appropriate safety criteria.

'We hope that our example will catch on and that other companies in the region will recognize and minimize their in-company risks with the help of certified occupational health and safety systems' Reiner Thede adds, likewise Managing Director of ERBE.
