The Stuttgart and Tübingen universities will offer a joint Bachelor study course on medical technology from the winter semester 2010/11. The combination of medicine and technology within one study course is unique in Germany and provides excellent training in the realm of medical technology.
Target group
The target group for the Bachelor study course "Medical Technology" is aligned to students interested in an interdisciplinary education based on science and engineering within the field of medical issues and an alternative to the professional goal of physician or development engineer.
Certifications
Graduates of the 6-semester study course, which is completed with the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) degree, are offered interesting perspectives.
Apart from the option of choosing between two interesting Master study courses (Medical-Engineering in Stuttgart and Biomedical Technology in Tübingen), the students will also have good opportunities on the job markets - especially medium-sized companies in the medical-technology sector provide excellent opportunities for those starting their careers.
