What you have always wanted to know about training at ERBE
What are the working hours for trainees?
Regular daily normal working hours are 7.5 hours from Mondays to Thursdays and 5.0 hours on Fridays.
How many vacation days does a trainee have at ERBE?
In this case we apply the collective framework agreement (ERA) of the "Südwestmetallverband" which controls the annual vacation claim of 30 days.
How much does a trainee at ERBE earn?
The training salary is also controlled by the ERA collective framework agreement. This also applies to further payments such as leave pay, X-Mas bonuses and old-age provision effective pay. Our trainees are also paid a transport allowance (depending on their residence).
Does ERBE have a JAV [Association for Young Employees and Trainees] representative?
Yes, ERBE does have a JAV representation, which represents the interests of adolescents and trainees in the company. Elections for adolescent and trainee representation take place every two years.
Does ERBE have a canteen?
Yes, we do have a canteen available to our employees from Mondays to Fridays. Several menus can be selected on a daily basis; the food is subsidised by the company and is therefore very inexpensive.
What happens after training?
We take over our trainees after completed training.
