Surgical Chalazion Removal

Optimal cosmetic outcomedue to precise incision with ERBE VIO C

Surgical Chalazion Removal
The favorable hemostasis properties of the new VIO-C mode permit safe and precise incision for removing eye cysts. Subsequent coagulation of the wound with bipolar or monopolar coagulation current results in a clean coagulation margin and a good postoperative cosmetic outcome. The recommended settings for needle electrode 20191-363 are: AUTO CUT at 5 – 10 watt.

    Advantages of ERBE equipment

    • Automatically controlled cutting quality of the AUTO CUT in VIO C mode by means of voltage regulation
    • Excellent hemostatic properties of the cut
    • Minimal necrosis and reproducible cutting quality
    • No instrument adhesion to the tissue, therefore a more precise cutting profile
    • Minimal carbonisation, therefore an optimal cosmetic outcome
