Flexible Cryoprobe 1,9 mm

Flexible cryo probes extend range of applications in bronchoscopy

ERBE Flexible Kryosonde ERBE's flexible cryo probes are used to devitalize tissue through freezing, to take tissue biopsies, to recanalize endobronchial stenoses and to remove foreign bodies.

The wide selection of cryo probes has been extended by a flexible cryo probe with a diameter of 1.9 mm.
ERBE Kryosonde

Developed for bronchoscopes with a standard inner diameter of 2 mm

The new cryo probes were developed for bronchoscopes in which the working channel
has a diameter of 2 mm, making it possible to use the probes even in more peripheral areas
of the tracheobronchial tract ? for example, when rapid bronchoscopic intervention
is needed because a tumor is blocking the respiratory passages or the bronchial tubes.

Cryo therapy is a useful alternative to laser treatment, offering comparable effects but with a greater degree of safety and at a lower cost.
Kryo-Biopsie mit flexibler ERBE Sonde

Optimal biopsy specimens even from the segmental bronchi

A study (see 1) has demonstrated the superiority of this technique for obtaining biopsy specimens with regard to both the size and the quality of the biopsied tissue.

Obtaining tissue specimens with the help of the cryo probe for diagnostic purposes is safe and reliable.

The biopsied samples provide a high proportion of unbiased tissue for morphological examination.
