since 1962
Yesterday, today and tomorrow: Inventors have a head start.

In 1945 Helmut Erbe (born in 1928) began working for the company. He took over the management in 1962. He modernized the company?s organization, expanded its distribution network, founded sales and service branch offices and intensified the contacts to customers and foreign commercial enterprises for medical technology. In 1968 the first branch office was established in Vienna, which was followed by others in France, the USA, Benelux, Switzerland, Poland, Great Britain and India. Representations of the parent company were established in Russia, China, Singapore and Serbia. |
The first regulated electrosurgical unit was a global milestone in electrosurgical technology. Completely new techniques began to be used in operating rooms and medical surgeries. Helmut Erbe created a solid basis at all levels ? from development to sales - for continued progress and increasing success.
|
In 1996 he brought in his son Christian Otto Erbe and son-in-law Reiner Thede as the fifth generation to manage the company. Christian O. Erbe and Reiner Thede are now the company's managing directors with a strong international focus. For the future ERBE intends to continue improving its lead in medical technology on the world market. |
