The VIO 300 D offers a bipolar cut and coagulation mode for bipolar resection in urological as well as gynecological procedures - BIPOLAR CUT++ and BIPOLAR SOFT++ (see VIO display in detail picture 2). These modi work with automatic output dosage and therefore provide optimal hemostasis. This ensures even more safety in TUR-P and TUR-B. All common resectoscopes can be connected to the VIO 300 D using the adapter bipolar resection (detail picture 3).

Indications

  • Benign prostatic hypertrophy

Advantages of ERBE equipment

  • Good, reliable hemostasis, minimal blood loss
  • Potential reduction of the risk of absorption of irrigating fluid (TUR syndrome)
  • Irrigating fluid remains clear for a long period of time
  • Minimal formation of bubbles during the cut/minimal blistering during the cut
  • Reduces the need for additional coagulation, saves time
  • BIPOLAR CUT++ is compatible with all major bipolar resectoscopes
  • Rapid generation of arcs, immediate cutting (without needing to exert mechanical pressure on the tissue)
  • Arcing intensity is regulated to ensure homogeneous development of arcs (at low energy level inputs)
