LAVH with ERBE BiClamp® LAP forceps
Safe thermofusion of uterine blood vessels

Bipolar coagulation with ERBE BiClamp is a tried and tested electrosurgical procedure for the safe coagulation of vascularized tissue structures. In the case of laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH) with or without bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (BSO) the BiClamp instrument is used (see fenestrated BiClamp LAP forceps in detailed fig. 2) to grasp and thermofuse uterine vessels (see detailed fig. 1) which can then be dissected safely. |
Indications
- If vaginal hysterctomy is not possible, in case of big uterus or nulliparous women
- In cases with additional adnexal pathology
- Endometriosis
- Endometrial/Cervical cancer with indication for pelvic lymphadenedectomy
